Hoplite Uppers

Back by popular demand: Ready-to-go Hoplite 5.56 NATO upper receiver assemblies, suitable for use on pistol, SBR or–when upgrading to a suitable muzzle device and our pin & weld service–rifle lower receivers.

These uppers are based on Citizen Arms’ most popular Hoplite 5.56 custom builds, while still retaining a few upgrade options. Even with traditional steel and aluminum components, the base model’s weight is just 3.15 lbs.

Each upper is built with the same attention to detail and accurization methods as all other Citizen Arms ARs, then test fired, tuned and partially broken-in by the builder to verify perfect function and sub-MOA accuracy.

Base model features:

  • 14.5″ light contour barrel, 5.56 NATO chamber, nitrided, 1:7 twist, mid gas
  • Flat top, forged, slickside upper with brass deflector
  • Skeletonized, nitrided bolt carrier & 9310 steel bolt (MPI)
  • ALG Defense 13″ EMR V1 freefloat forend, M-LOK
  • Low profile .625, nitrided gas block, non-adjustable
  • Mil-Spec charging handle
  • Aluminum 1/2-28 thread protector
  • Sub-MOA w/select factory ammunition, test targets included
  • 3.15 lbs (in base configuration)
  • Includes shipping within lower 48 states (additional costs for AK & HI)
  • $1075.00 (NC residents add 7% sales tax)

Upgrade Options

Muzzle Devices
Muzzle Device: A Strike Industries thread protector comes standard. You can specify a different muzzle device according to your needs. Options include a standard flash hider, muzzle brake or most of the common suppressor QD and Thread-Over-Mount muzzle devices. Additional cost depends on model chosen.

Pin & Weld service: +$75
Note: If choosing pin & weld service to bring barrel length to 16+”, the muzzle device must be a minimum of 2.3″ long. Steel muzzle devices only

Hoplite Uppers

Adjustable Gas Block Upgrade: Recommended for suppressor use. Superlative Arms, .625, nitrided, adjustable “bleed-off” gas block: +$53

Alg Emr Options

ALG EMR Handguard Options: 13″ black EMR V1 is standard

  • 13″ Gray or Purple V1 (slick tube): no additional cost
  • 13″ DDC V2 or13.75″ Black V2 (front sight rail): +$15
  • 13″ Black, Gray or Purple V3 (full top rail): +$25
Hoplite Uppers
Charging Handle Upgrades: Mil-spec charging handle and latch are standard
  • Strike Industries gas-shielded, standard latch (left): +$14
  • Geissele Automatics SCH ambi, black (center) or DDC (right) finish: +$44
